a life well lived
my granddad died Sunday morning. he was 89 years old.
he taught me how to love God, to love family unconditionally, to learn from the past, to plan for the future by living rightly in the present. he taught me that most of life's answers can be found in the Bible and the Dictionary. he taught me how to fish, how to drive a golf cart (and how NOT to drive a golf cart into the creek at the golf course), and how to play Solitaire.
he read the Word of God every day. every day. he prayed for me every day. every day.
i never have known a world without him in it until this week.
i have the hope that he's right where he's supposed to be and enjoying every minute of praising God. heaven has added one more deep-voiced, loving, wise soul. our loss, but oh what a day it will be...

Oh, Loren, I have tears in my eyes. What a dear man. I know that you will miss him, but how blessed are we that know the Lord. He is singing right now with my off-key, but loud and joyful, brother Anthony. Our prayers are with you and your family.
loren, i am so sorry. will call in the next few days and be praying for you. *i'm sending you a big hug.*
Beautiful man.
Not to be irreverent, but those pants rule! Steve
