a song

i first heard this song by Eastmountainsouth on a cheesy made-for-TV movie, Lucky 7 (please note that this was about the only website on which I could find this movie; also note what other movies people who purchased this movie purchased. AWESOME). Anyway, it came up on my yahoo station today. Makes me happy. It's a beautiful song (lyrics and melody).

As the music at the banquet
As the wine before the meal
As the firelight in the night
So are you to me

As the ruby in the setting
As the fruit upon the tree
As the wind blows over the plains
So are you to me

As the wind blows over the plains
So are you to me
So are you to me

Shut up! I found EastMountainSouth a while back and this song is by far one of their best. I also loved "Hard Times Come Again No More" because I first fell in love with it when James Taylor did it with Yo Yo and Mark O'Connor on an Apalachan album...I can't decide which of those I love better. Anyway...great lyrics...she does a very real job, honest job, with it.

Hey Loren. Lindsay loves this song and has the CD. She first heard it on an episode of Alias. Great song. And one of the people from EMS is on the new Dave Potts record.
